Jerome Kern Memorial
On December 9, 1945. Starring Judy Garland, Frank Sinatra, Hildegarde, Dinah Shore, Patrice Munsel, Nelson Eddy, Oscar Hammerstein, and others performed in a broadcast salute to the recently deceased Jerome Kern. The entire broadcast has been uploaded to our Yahoo group. A bonus track featuring two songs Judy performed at the Jerome Kern Memorial Concert held at the Hollywood Bowl on 7/20/46 have been included.

WHERE JUDY PLAYED
Judy played (her records) on WNEW in the early 50's and celebratedCarnegie Hall's anniversary at/on the radio station on April 23, 1962. The new Where Judy Played files posted are from an evening in 1985when Mel Torme showed up at WNEW in the mood to sing (and luckily, hejust happened to have a few musicians in tow).

Driving Miss Crawford
Has anyone listened to the Joan Crawford Limousine recording? All I can say is thank god she wasn't driving! I mean, really.I think my favorite part is when she calls out Shirley Eders husbands name like she is buzzing in the answer to a game show...I just got tons of this stuff, including a recorded conversation while Joan and Barbara Stanwyck were sipping "tea" at the 21 club, and a follow up phone conversation where Barbara Stanwyck seriously dishes her good friend Joan to a reporter. Let me know if there is an audience for this kind of material and I will post more....
