THE JUDY GARLAND CLUB

Over at the Yahoo experience we have been reminding people to renew their subscriptions or join the re-energized Judy Garland Club.

Judy not only approved of the club, but she visited it, as you can see from these pictures.
And if that wasn't enough, one time she showed up with Peter Allen in tow and sang for the club members!!!!
And yes, if you go to the Yahoo version of TJGE right now you can hear a recording of that very special appearance.

JUDY AND JOAN AT THE PALACE

On August 23, 1967 Judy Garland was in the middle of a performance at the Palace Theater when a familiar voice called out to her from the audience.

The attention seeker turned out to be none other than Miss Joan Crawford who proceeded to hoist herself up onto the Palace stage and bask in some of Judy's glory for a few minutes.

A recording of that complete show, which also featured John Bubbles, Lorna Luft, and Joe Luft, has been posted to the audio section of the Yahoo group.
