TWO PORTRAITS

Two compelling portraits of Judy that were taken at MGM on November 8, 1948.

On This Day In Herstory (January 30, 1963)

On this day in herstory Judy Garland was in New York City taping her fourth television special (Judy And Her Guests) for CBS. Here she is seen performing her "Love" medley, as photographed by longtime Garland friend and fan, Roddy McDowell.

A JUDY GARLAND AND MICKEY ROONEY REUNION

A few rare production and wrap party photos from the premiere episode of The Judy Garland Show with guest star Mickey Rooney.

JUDY AND LUCY (and Roddy McDowell too)

It looks like an MGM reunion with Judy Garland, Lucille Ball, and Roddy McDowell all partying together at the wrap party for the first episode of Judy's CBS TV series.
Incidentally that is CBS honcho and sworn Garland enemy, Jim "The Smiling Cobra" Aubrey, shaking hands with Roddy McDowell, and the Truman Capote-ish looking gentleman in the background is Agent, and husband to Polly Bergen, Freddie Fields.

Bring Your Daughter To Work Day

Ingrid Slezak visits with her father Walter, and Judy Garland on the set of The Pirate.

A Woman And Her Train

If Judy Garland had a favorite mode of travel it was trains. There are more photographs of her entering and leaving trains than any other type of transportation.
Here she is looking positively Donna Reedish.

Streisand And Minnelli

Barbra Streisand and Liza Minnelli make a rare public appearance together.

On This Day In Herstory (January 29, 1964)

On this day in herstory Judy paid the pool guy.
This check is from the collection of David Price who purchased it from the legendary/infamous (depending on how you look at it)Wayne Martin.

I see that somebody typed a business check for Judy to sign and use for a personal expense. Never a good idea to have your business pay your personal expenses.
Talk about mismanagement!
