WOODY HERMAN WHERE JUDY PLAYED

This week on WHERE JUDY PLAYED over at the Yahoo version of the experience you can hear excerpts from a great concert Woody Herman gave at Carnegie Hall.

Joining Woody on stage that night were a plethora of legendary players who at one time or another played in one of Woody's "Herds."

Among the cats sitting in were Al Cohn, Nat Pierce, Mary Ann McCall, Zoot Sims, Stan Getz, Jimmy Rowles, Don Lamond, Ralph Burns, and many, Many more.
If you are a fan of Bop, Big Bands, or just plain old hard blowing jazz you will like these files.
