JUDY GOES HOLLYWOOD

Just got finished listening to The new Savoy Jazz release Judy Goes Hollywood that is set to be released tomorrow.

What a treat! The line up is well thought out, and each song fits perfectly into it's slot.

The sound, coming from various TV soundtrack recordings, of course is varied, and yes, the later recordings, after TJGS had an audio overhaul, are richer and warmer sounding, but some of the earlier recordings have their own aural merits as well (Alexander's Ragtime Band and Keep Your Sunny Side Up sound like they are in stereo).

All in all a very enjoyable listening experience, and one that I look forward to repeating again and again!

Hat's off to Judy Garland, Savoy, John Fricke, Ranse Ransone, and the rest of the production team for this welcome disc!
