Per David Price "January 28, 1938 ... found Judy posing for photographers on the grounds of the Roney Plaza Hotel in Miami, where she had been sent to appear at the world premiere of EVERYBODY SING a few days before. The junket continued with appearances in NYC, then the mid-west and even a stop in her home town of Grand Rapids. I believe this was Judy's first trip out "on the road" for MGM ... signaling the beginning of her rise in status at the studio".
