I may have mentioned it before, but I remember so, so clearly watching her on that Sullivan show - I was 8, and it was the first time I saw her perform as the "grown-up" Judy - my family squealing with delight - her beauty that night, her unforgettable renditions of the songs, the whole magilla. From that moment on, for me, she personified beauty, talent and the power of combining those qualities with the power of her personality -I never looked back. The emotions I felt that night truly sparked my understanding of art - and my need to participate in it.
