French Culture Minister Frederic Mitterrand presented entertainer Liza Minnelli with the Legion Of Honor yesterday in Paris.
Minnelli called the distinction "a dream come true" and said she was "honored to be a part of France, a part of Paris. Thank you for watching me, thank you for caring about me."
The daughter of Judy Garland and Vincente Minnelli is no stranger to awards, having received the Oscar, a Grammy, a few Tony’s and Emmy’s, as well as the key to New York City.
