NEW FILES POSTED TO THE YAHOO GROUP (for the week of March 4, 2012)

Here is a look at this week's homepages for the Yahoo version of TJGE and a rundown of the new audio files posted. To access the Yahoo version of The Judy Garland Experience click HERE

A JUDY MOMENT
Judy Garland in an animated musical? Yup. And it gave us a Judy moment to remember.

BING AND ROSIE #666
Another (out of order) episode of Bing Crosby and Rosemary Clooney's daily radio show. This entry is from September 18, 1962.

DUET OF THE WEEK
The charisma flows easy when Peggy Lee teams up with Desi Arnaz for this duet of one of her biggest hits. Eh, maybe Peggy was worried there was too much charisma showing because she makes it a point to give Lucille Ball a shout out at the conclusion of the song.

ENCORE
Janis Siegel is just a girl looking for some answers.

JUDY AT THE SUPPER CLUB
Fragments of Judy Garland's May 6, 1948 appearance on Chesterfield's Supper Club program. Also heard: Irving Berlin, Perry Como, and Fred Astaire.

JUDY IN CONCERT
Judy claimed to have sequins in her throat at this random concert from her final engagement at the Palace in 1967, but she sure seems to be getting her message across to the audience, and to us!

KRAFT MUSIC HALL
Al Jolson plays host to Judy Garland and Oscar Levant on this episode of the Music Hall that was first broadcast on September 30, 1948. Announcer Ken Carpenter seems confused as to who the world's greatest entertainer is, but no worries, history seems to have worked that one out.

LADY ESTHER BLODGETT THEATER
Presents JUDY GARLAND in DICK TRACY IN B FLAT. Also starring Frank Sinatra, Dinah Shore, Frank Morgan, The Andrews Sisters, Jimmy Durante, and others. Originally broadcast on February 15, 1945.

REQUESTS AND RARITIES
Oddities, rarities, and the unexpected.

SUNDAY MORNING SPECIAL
A few early radio performances from Frances Faye.

WHERE JUDY PLAYED
Billy Eckstine at the New Frontier Hotel in Las Vegas.
