FORD STAR JUBILEE STARRING MISS JUDY GARLAND

A Newly discovered soundtrack recording from Judy's first television special has been posted to the yahoo group. All of the previous audio recordings from this program have come from dubs of the viseo and kinescope of the show. This recording appears to have originated from a broadcast line and is far superior than previous versions at showing the texture and shadings of the magnificent Garland voice.

THE PARTY'S OVER

This weeks INTERPRETATIONS song over at TJGE is The Party's Over.

Posted for your listening pleasure are Judy's 1962 recording of the song as well as her 1963 duet of it with Mel Torme.

Be sure to stop and give them a listen, and then vote for your favorite version.

THE MISTY MISS JUNE CHRISTY

Some oh so rare 1968 recordings of June Christy performing on a TV special that Bobby Troup filmed for local Los Angeles television have been posted to the Yahoo group, The Judy Garland Experience.

Junebug is in particularly good voice, and sings some out of the way material. If you are a fan you won't one to miss these files.

JUDY AND SINATRA IN SEATTLE

Other new files at the Yahoo group include a rare 1957 Frank Sinatra concert from Seattle that was recorded in crisp early stereo, and an ultra rare radio interview that Judy did while she was performing in Seattle in 1955.

Neither of these gems should not be missed!
