A truly great concert has been posted over at the experience. The Los Angeles portion of the annual Esquire Jazz Awards concert, recorded at the Los Angeles Philharmonic features performances by Billie Holiday, Duke Ellington, Art Tatum, Anita O'Day, Johnny Hodges, Billt Strayhorn, and other Jazz greats.Presenting awards to the Jazz Cat's are Judy Garland, Lena Horne, Danny Kaye, Lionel Barrymore, and others.
This is a must listen for fans of old school jazz.
