Meanwhile, the Paley Center screenings start this Wednesday.The entry fee is referred to on their website as a Contribution. Members of The Paley Center attend their screenings free. For non-members, there are no advance purchases. The ‘contribution’ fee is part of the general admission to The Paley Center: $10.00 for adults, $8.00 for students and senior citizens; $5.00 for children under the age of fourteen.
Most of the weekday and weekend screenings begin at 12:30 p.m. (Those shown on the Center's "late night" -- Thursday -- begin at 6 p.m.) Doors open at noon, so there's a half-hour in which to make your contribution and get seated before the onset of a program.
All the Garland packages play either both on weekdays or weekends -- or, for those 12:30pm shows that do not repeat on weekends, they are also shown at 6:00 p.m. Thursday performances. This insures that people who work have a chance to catch every program.
The Paley Center is located at 25 W. 52nd Street, between Fifth Avenue and The Avenue of the Americas (Sixth Avenue).
