She was taking a break from her treatment at the the Brigham Hospital in Boston and back briefly in Los Angeles for meetings concerning her next film, SUMMER STOCK.
[Miss Barrymore's birthday fell on August 15 but it is unknown to me whether the party was actually on that day or one close to it.]
