Ten years ago this month there was a two night event at Carnegie Hall that celebrated the life and art of Judy Garland. We at TJGE are very proud to be presenting the world premiere of the recording from both nights over at our Yahoo group. This week we are featuring the first night that featured Lorna Luft, Jerry Herman, Bebe Neuwirth, Wesla Whitfield, Robert Morse, Nancy Dussault, Vicki Carr, and others.
Next week we will be posting the second night of the event, which features a whole new roster of talent.
Both nights were very special, you won't want to miss these ultra rare files.

Hello - I love your blog. I have met Lorna Luft and did her makeup - i also stood was outside the church when Liza married David Gest and when she threw her white rosed bouquet outside the church I caught it - but it bounced out of hands and into the clutches of another fan - but I did manage to hold onto two of the roses.

Along with lively discussions and hundreds of rare photo's, we have extremely rare Judy recordings, some making there world debut (few months ago we presented Judy's long lost 1963 studio album, provided by her hairdresser, Orval), as well as several nights from her 1967 stint at Madison Square Garden, an appearance at London's Night Of !00 Stars, and so much more it is almost overwhelming!
