JOHN FRICKE AT Y92 MARCH 1, 2012



For those in the TriState area, John Fricke will offer a concise lecture about Judy's film career -- including clips -- in a one-time appearance at 12 noon on Thursday, March 1st.




Fricke is an author and historian and the recipient of two Emmy Awards and a Grammy nomination. He is the author of The Wizard of Oz: An Illustrated Compan-ion to the Timeless Movie Classic and four other books about Oz or Judy Garland.

The Wizard of Oz, A Star Is Born and Meet Me in St. Louis are some of the works leading Garland historian John Fricke focuses on as he tells the story —complete with select clips—of the legendary film career that bridged decades and crossed generations.
