This day in herstory found Judy Garland in New York attending the opening night of Tennessee Williams' Slapstick Tragedy, an evening featuring two of his one act plays.
Judy and popular television star of Nanny And The Professor, Juliet Mills, are pictured here visiting backstage with one of the stars of the plays, Margaret Leighton.
