This day in herstory found Judy Garland in Brooklyn, New York taping the first of two back to back episodes of The Sammy Davis Show. Despite having a cold that left her with no voice to speak of (or sing of as the case may be), Judy still managed to charm and wow the audience with her performance.
She is seen here performing during a mini concert that she gave to open her segment of the show. After this she left the stage, changed outfits, and then returned with Sammy to sing an extended medley.
