LORNA STOPS THE SHOW
Last weekend Lorna Luft made a surprise appearance at one of Barry Manilow's rapturously received and sold out concerts in London.
Lorna joined her friend onstage to sing Rockabye Your Baby (with a Dixie melody),one of the big songs from her latest CD, Songs My Mother Taught Me.
Barry accompanied Lorna and sang the verse with her, but then left the stage so Lorna could deliver two choruses by herself.
And with her recently rejuvenated powerhouse of a voice, deliver she did!
The night was a musical triumph for both Manilow and Luft, and as these amazing photos by Vik Reeby show, the show was visually spectacular as well.

The meeting with Barry and Lorna was amazing. Barry was so gracious - he come over asking 'Where's Gary?' which was such an honour. He said he was a huge fan of the magazine, that the Club was doing great work to preserve Judy's legacy, that the magazine was professional and
beautifully designed. Lorna, who had delivered a great rendition of
Rockabye to the London arena audience was equally supportive; saying that she was 100% behind the Club and the magazine, even making a point of asking us to publish her glowing endorsement of our work.
