Academy Award nominated songwriter, Hugh Martin, has passed away. His death, due to natural causes, took place at his home in Encitas, California.
Martin composed for Broadway (Best Foot Forward) and Hollywood (Meet Me In St. Louis) but is probably best known for the beloved holiday standard Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.
He is survived by his brother, Gordon.
