Per David Price, On this day in herstory "an alleged kidnap plot victimizing Judy was apparently thwarted by local authorities ... Judy is seen here at her Stone Canyon Rd. home offering refreshments to two gentlemen, either FBI or local police called in to protect her. According to published reports, the would-be kidnapper essentially turned himself in and she was never in any real danger."
Now if you ask me, the real crime was Judy wearing socks with her flip flops.
